Fancourt (The Links)

I was invited to play at Fancourt Links after playing the other two courses at Fancourt.

Our second trip to South Africa was basically to come to Fancourt .

A private members only course, a few guests of the hotel are allowed to play daily, and receive a special invitation in your room the night before that outlines all the details of the “experience”

Collected at the hotel foyer you are transported by buggy to the clubhouse, where you are invited to sign the visitor book, before being allocated a caddy and directed to the super range facilities.

When Dr Hasso Plattner bought Fancourt resort in the early 90's, his expansion plans included the addition of a links course to be built on an adjacent airstrip.

Fancourt Links is rated the number one course in South Africa and with good justification.

Fancourt Links fully justifies its status as the finest routing in South Africa.

I played The Links at Fancourt over the New Year period which is SA summer time.

This is the best course I've played anywhere in the world.
