Ferndown Golf Club (Old)

The last of the fabled Dorset golfing threesome, alongside Broadstone and Parkstone, and a classic heathland treat.

Another Dorset delight.

A really enjoyable course indeed however being extra special as Matt Le Tissier was in my group made it an out-of-this-world experience and honestly the nicest guy you could ever meet.

Attention to detail was absolutely fantastic and the greens have got to be the best I’ve putted on in a long time.

A wonderful design and beautifully presented.

What a spectacle it is, looking down the 1st fairway at Ferndown from the clubhouse veranda.

Dorset may not have a large number of courses, but the quality seems extremely high, with Ferndown serving as a perfect example.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, Ferndown stepped up it's game.

On the plus side, I've never found this course in anything other than good or great condition.

We played at Ferndown in May and very much enjoyed it.
