Ferrum Club

Originally established as a private member’s set-up, the 18-hole layout at the Ferrum Club is a Cynthia Dye McGarey & Kim Myong Gil design that debuted in 2014. Following a change in ownership, it now operates as a pay and play golf facility.

The Ferrum Club was established by the Dongkuk Steel Mill Company who decided that the Latin term for the chemical element, which is at heart of the company’s manufacturing process, was a poignant name for their golfing facility.

Laid out to tournament standards, the course boasts sub-air greens seeded with bent grass, with Kentucky blue grass tees and fairways carpeted with Zoysia. The famous Japanese self-taught architect Tadao Ando designed Ferrum’s wonderful clubhouse in his minimalist style.
