This is a cracking golf course in an area of the coast where courses run the risk of all being clones and merging into one - the layout and terrain is great. the first few holes are generous and very average, but from the 4th onwards this course takes on a life of its own with a great variety of holes and design. there's some big par 4's out there so beware before you start thinking your John Daly and wanting to play off the back tees. the back nine gets a little tighter for the first few holes before opening out again for quite a gentle finish. great service and food etc...... as you'd expect at a venue like this. its a little pricey - think we paid about £250 for a whole day inc buggies, but when you think of some of the dross you can play out on the Costa's for 60-80 euros a round then its worth upping your budget for something of superior quality and special. only downside, agree with a previous review of it being a tough course to walk around + the buggy paths are at times a long way from fairways and up steep banks etc.... so this can slow down play quite a lot on holes such as the 7th and 11th. in the end i took my clubs for a handful of holes and walked it.
