A pleasant, challenging and well-designed resort course that just lacks the real polished edges to make it something special. Don't get me wrong, it's well worth playing and would be well worth the 60Km drive south from Surabaya city. The tall-treed rural setting adds to the aesthetics, as do the nearby towering volcano mountains. There's doglegs, undulations, bunkers and occasional water and to add local flavour even shots over rice paddies. Compulsory caddie of course and good value if staying in-house at the Finna Resort.

If coming to Finna to play, you almost have to travel the 10 minutes and play the course nearby, Taman Dayu, as well. It's a spectacular course and what Finna could be with a little work and more attention to detail.

If allowed a little more granularity, I'd call this a 4.5 ball course.
