Five Nations Golf Club was formed in the early 1990s and in its first thirty years of operation it had almost as many different international groups of owners as its name suggests due to various bankruptcies and takeovers involving Belgian, Dutch, German and French companies. Located on the northern edge of the Belgian Ardennes region, the course is routed across a very undulating landscape with a good mix of tree-lined holes on the front nine and more open holes on the shorter back nine.

This edited excerpt is taken from the Peugeot Golf Guide. "The steep terrain, sharp altitude differences and the spectacular views of the second and thirteenth holes are all a part of the landscape. On the plus side the openness and tightness of the fairways require extreme accuracy. The clubhouse is a large farmhouse.
It is 6,005 meters long from the back tees. The par for this course is 72 (37 in then 35 out), and it has two nine-hole loops. The water is present on several holes, notably the 2nd par 4, the 15th par 5, and 16th par 4. It also appears to be to the left of the fairways of both the par 4 and par 5th. The left-doglegging par 4th hole (rated as a stroke index 3), and the longest par three at the 17th hole (185 metres) are also highlights.
