Review:

A decent course rather a really great one. The mention of Surrey and golf gets most people weak at the knees as the quality is high and the list on this site has sixteen of Surrey's courses in the Top 100 of England. For me Foxhills as a course is not quite with them to be honest - the Bernard Hunt course has a few really nice holes; my favourites were the very tough par-3 4th (tip - if putting from the back to the front, take it easy otherwise you may need your wedge for your next shot - really, really fast) and also the tough par-4 10th, an elevated tee and then an uphill approach - probably the best hole on the course. Just not enough stand out holes to get the pulse racing. On a side note the Foxhills complex (another 18 holes, a nine hole course, hotel, bars, spa etc.) is impressive and as an overall product I would recommend it. To compare Foxhills with nearby famous courses beginning with W or S is a little unfair - a different product all together and I am sure Foxhills can be seen as very successful business.
