Review for Galgorm Castle

Reviewer Score:

A classic parkland course with tree lined fairways and plenty of water to test your accuracy off the tee and approach shots. It features some fairly short pars fours off the standard tees but don't be fooled into thinking they are a push over. A good example is the fourth where a driver will put you too close to the trees impinging left and right blocking your short approach. Lovely greens with subtle borrows will test you on the first time out so you may not score well. The rough is short enough to allow the ball to be found, but when it's wet it's tough to make good progress impossible. Andy Waple @andywaple
