It is a source of mystery why Scotland's largest city has such a paucity of good courses. I suppose it is to do with the proximity of Ayrshire and its abundance of great links. But the same would be true of Edinburgh and East Lothian and yet the nation's capital has several excellent courses. (Just a thought but would any Glasgow courses feature in a joint top ten of the two cities?) Killermont is pleasant and extremely well-presented with a couple of fine short holes but overall somewhat underwhelming.
