1st course we played on the trip and I must say it was very impressive, the layout was fantastic. Carved through a forest, extremely tight in places, and great use of the land to create some fantastic holes, the Par 5 4th been a great example, teeing off from an elevated tee providing an exciting and great view of the hole. Great use of doglegs, which made it a thinking course. You had to be in the right spots to make a score round here. My personal favourite hole was the 13th, a brutal Par 4 with a huge dogleg to the right. Run out of fairway and your in the lake, take too much of the corner off and you'll end up in the middle of the giant pines guarding the corner. The 2nd shot is to a semi island green, with water circling around the left, right and back of the green. 2 good hits to hit this green in 2. The stretch of holes from 13-18 are fantastic, an island green par 3 on 17 is a very nice hole followed by a par 5 finishing hole with water running all the way down the left of the hole. On what was a fantastic the layout the only downside was the greens, the condition of them was terrible, sandy, fluffy, and extremely slow. It came as a surprise which was a shame as the rest of the course was brilliant.
