Glynlea Country Club features Jim Furyk's inaugural golf course design within a 560-acre master-planned community in Port St. Lucie on Florida's Treasure Coast. The par-72 layout spans 4,249 to 6,755 yards with five par-threes and five par-fives, marking the 17-time PGA Tour champion's first venture into golf architecture.

Glynlea Country Club represents Jim Furyk's transition from PGA Tour champion to golf course designer. Furyk collaborated with Michael Beebe, a 40-year veteran in golf course architecture, who established Beebe & Associates in 1998.
GreenPointe Developers developed the project within their Wylder master-planned community, with Hampton Golf managing operations from opening.
The course's 18 holes are named after Furyk's individual PGA Tour victories, including his 2003 US Open triumph.
Construction began following a groundbreaking celebration in October 2023, with infrastructure, including irrigation systems and lake formation, completed by early 2025.
The par-72 course has four sets of tees across 560 acres, incorporating natural wetland water features that enhance scenic beauty and provide wildlife viewing opportunities. Furyk designed bunkers to guide players toward the best approach angles to the greens rather than serving as penal obstacles.
The layout integrates natural Florida vegetation throughout the routing, with water features coming into play on multiple holes. Greens vary in size to match the specific challenges of each hole, whilst the course maintains playability across different skill levels through thoughtful tee positioning.
The course features a Toptracer Aqua Range with over-water hitting bays, providing shot tracking technology for practice sessions. A 10-acre Club Campus anchors the facility, housing the Fairway's Tavern restaurant, golf shop, and comprehensive practice facilities.
The design philosophy emphasises creating better angles from forward tees, addressing Furyk's observation that many courses prioritise back-tee aesthetics whilst neglecting average golfers' experiences.
