Managed to get round this time as unlike last time I tried on new years eve it went almost completely dark and battered down so we exited stage left.

To some extent, this course ticks off some cliched design features, and there are no stand-out holes, but it has been well executed, and the architect used enough flair to make the course feel original and interesting.

The course at Hacienda Riquelme was the first of six former Polaris World courses on the Jack Nicklaus golf trail that I visited a couple of weeks ago now.
The latest ranking of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World serves as the ultimate global golf bucket list. Most members of our World Top 100 Panel are seasoned golfers, each playing 20-30 of these courses annually while travelling extensively over decades to form their opinions on others.
