Review for Haggs Castle

Reviewer Score:

Haggs is a nice course. I’ve played it a lot. There are some great holes. It is generally in good condition. There is a large membership and so it should be. The biggest problem there is the water. It is a wet course and so from October thru to March it can feel boggy underfoot and it parts of it become difficult to play. Mats in the winter. Different tees and greens are used on occasion.

Out with these months it’s great. A pretty parkland course with a variety of holes. A few tough ones but a few good birdie chances. The Clubhouse is modern and the service excellent. A great Pro and good practice facilities.

Definitely worth a trip. Just not when it’s wet!!
