I was pleasantly surprised with the Heritage. Clearly it has been built with a large budget and it has many good holes and only a handful of average ones. The land slopes nicely, pronounced by extensive bunkering which tend to feel somewhat peripheral given that the fairways are as wide as airport runways. A good score is therefore a real possibility if you can keep out of the bunkers and the water hazards. Overall the Heritage is a pretty decent golfing experience that is complimented by a quality onsite hotel with all the usual luxuries.
