Golf Club of Houston (Tournament)

The Houston Open has existed in various forms since 1946. It has also been held at various venues around the city. Houston's Tournament Course at the Golf Club of Houston is the venue that has been the venue for more than other venues. The event was initially held exclusively on the Member Course for the first few years, the general Tournament Course held the event up to the year 2019.

Rees Jones reached deep into his love of the game of a lifetime (with help from David Toms), and each hole on the front nine has an approach or carry which could bring golfers near to water hazards. The second 9 is the less hazardous nine that lets golfers take on the role of their favourite PGA pros and test the course.
