Innisfail (Aspen & Hazelwood)

Two times host of The Alberta Men's Amateur Championship (most recently in the year 2018) the course located at Innisfail Golf Club is set in towards the South from Red Deer. The club was established in 1924. Today, the course comprises three 9-hole loops namely Aspen, Hazelwood and Spruce The latter one being the shortest of the three.

Through stands of mature spruce and poplar trees The Aspen as well as the Hazelwood nines stretch to a total duration of 6,672 miles playing to a par 72 and include the par-threes being two and fives along each loop. Water is introduced when you play three holes in the Aspen green, which protects the left side of the green on two holes, which are par 5 hole. three-par 3rd hole, and five holes that are par three.

The main attraction on the course at Innisfail is the hole that measures 362 yards hole on the Hazelwood course, which was completely renovated in late 2017 and was opened for play during the middle of summer in the year following. Hazelwood Lake lies to the left of the tee here and is surrounded by dense trees on the right-hand portion of the fairway. the hole veers left to an extremely lined peninsula green that extends to the water.
