Even in early season off mats Inverallochy is a fun, quick game of links golf with some challenging holes, friendly members and some very nice sea views.
It's courses like this that make touring the Highlands such a joy - whilst in the area we would strongly recommend a visit to Rosehearty adjacent to Fraserburgh whose ex-green keeper has for the last 6 years been polishing a gem.
At least 3 holes would belong on any course and together with Peterhead, Newburgh, Cruden Bay and the rest makes this corner of Scotland a great destination for a golf trip full of character and surprise.
