Kaya Palazzo Golf Club

Designed by David Jones back in the early years of the new millennium, the 18-hole layout at Kaya Palazzo – formerly known as Kaya Eagles Golf Club – is just one of a number of sporting amenities available at a resort which also boasts six floodlit football playing fields and twenty-five tennis courts.

Extending to almost 6,000 metres from the tips, the course plays to a par of 72 (37 out, 35 in) and holes are arranged as two returning nines, both of which end with adjacent par fives. As fairways are routed around several lakes, it’s really no surprise to learn that water comes into play at half the holes on the scorecard.

Highlights include the slightly left doglegging par four 3rd, the long par five 5th and the par four 17th (rated stroke index 2). All three holes contain similar aquatic difficulties with water to the left of the fairway which then cuts across in front of the green, mandating an aerial approach shot.
