Kilspindie Golf Club

Kilspindie is a delightful walk with plenty of memorable holes, some challenging and mixed with a number of half par holes throughout the 18.

With its sea and salt marshes, dunes and scrub, Aberlady Bay was proclaimed the UK's first nature reserve in 1952.

Perfect for the start to an East Lothian trip, Kilspindie shows that the yardage doesn't need to be long for a course to be interesting and/or fun.

Short and compact but don’t be deceived, Kilspindie is one of ten courses within a mile of Gullane Bay and while it is the shortest at only 5,492 yards it provides a stern test, especially if the wind blows with pot bunkers and small undulating greens being a feature.

Short does NOT mean easy.

This is a must play - a true Scottish Links, with some great, quirky holes throughout the routing.

Quirky little course, which plays deceptively hard despite its short yardage.

Kilspindie lies adjacent to Craigielaw Golf Club on a coastal stretch in East Lothian which includes such stalwarts as the Gullane triumvirate, Muirfield, the Renaissance Club and North Berwick.
