They also know how to treat people with top notch customer service. It’s a bit of a trek to get there but it is well worth it.

Range balls included on a mat only range. Extremely fast greens when I played, they rolled great. Wide open fairways on most holes. It is a very good course, but...there are way too many sequential parallel holes. As an example, the back to back par fives on the backside. While there is plenty of water, it is somewhat amazing to be so close to the Gulf of Mexico and not see it. Some holes of note, the par four 9th, favor the lef...

One of the most challenging aspects in having a stand alone resort course is providing for compelling architecture that can entertain the fullest spectrum of golfers.

One has to be smart enough not to ramp up the difficulty meter too far otherwise you run the risk of "one and done" rounds with few people returning. The nearest Kiva is at least 2000 miles away (in New Mexico) and there’s not much in the way of dunes here either.

What is here is a lovely golf course. Though water comes into play on 7 holes, only two require a forced carry.
