Kymen

The Kotka Golf Centre is located on the island of Mussalo, beside the small town of Kotka in the south of Finland and the Kymen Golf Club brought this beautiful 18-hole layout into play back in 1989.

Designed by the respected Finnish architect Kosti Kuronen, the course is laid out in a naturally forested area, with numerous water hazards around the property to guarantee variety and interest whenever a round is played here.

The holes are routed in two returning circuits, each with a pair of lengthy short holes. The par threes on the front nine at holes 4 and 8 are both played over water to tricky target greens whilst the 12th and 16th holes require elevated tee shots played to tree-encircled greens.

The Kymen Golf Club has held a number of prominent golf competitions over recent years and, in winter, they organize the Finnish indoor golf championships!
