Labuan International

Owned by Perbadanan Labuan and managed by Saujana Scape & Greens, Labuan International Golf Club is a Parslow & Winter-designed course that’s set out within a 200-acre site on the south west coast of Labuan Island in East Malaysia.

First opened for play in 2013, the course was constructed to serve the guests of nearby hotels and other residential developments that are in the pipeline for clients of the fast growing Oil & Gas Industry and Offshore Finance sectors on Lubuan island.

There’s little time to get warmed up on the course before the toughest two holes on the front nine, both of which play as left doglegged par fives, are tackled back-to-back at the 501-metre 2nd and 490-metre 3rd.

On the back nine, the 455-metre 14th is another strong par five that’s routed over tumbling terrain to a raised, two-tiered green and the round ends in challenging style with the fairway on the 18th hole veering right to a home green that’s layered in three distinct levels.
