Lahinch Golf Club (Old)

A familiar story is told across the fabled Old course at Lahinch where Old Tom Morris (possibly the finest first generation architect at harnessing and utilising the qualities that the natural terrain provided) once again weaved his mercurial magic across the rich ground he was asked to build a golf course upon.

I visited Lahinch on a golf trip that included some incredible golf courses.

Possibly one of the toughest tests of golf I have played.

Maybe not the best golf course in Ireland, but definitely the most fun.

Maybe the most fun you will have in Ireland - not a bad hole to be found.

My favorite golf course I've ever played.

My first observation with Lahinch was the connection with the town.

This is a wonderful course with so many kinds of holes and a routing that is great.

I don't really know where to find fault with the Old Course at Lahinch.
