The golf course is just one of several sporting amenities available to members at Lakeside, as the club also offers 12 tennis courts (10 of which are floodlit), a resort pool and heated lap pool. The main clubhouse extends to a massive 90,000 square feet, with casual dining, formal dining, grill rooms and several private banquet rooms.
Standout holes include the 426-yard 5th and 585-yard 13th, which are rated the two most difficult on the card. Both nines return to the clubhouse, with the 9th and 18th greens located on a peninsula close to the clubhouse, requiring an approach shot over water to reach the green – there’s no bail out available here so it’s an all or nothing finish on these two holes.
