Landskrona (Erikstorp)
With beguiling views over the Øresund strait to Ven island, the premier course at the 36-hole Landskrona Golfklubb is the Erikstorp layout which dates back to 1962. The course has benefited markedly from a Peter Chamberlain and Karl Oskar Seth USGA greens renovation in 2008.
Today, the Erikstorp extends to around 5,700 metres from the back markers, playing to a par of 71 (36 out then 35 in), with holes arranged as two returning nines. Holes 1-6 were constructed in 2016 due to land that was sold for a housing project, with architect Johan Benestam designing the new set-up.
Feature holes include the 340-metre 1st (which doglegs left into the northeast corner of the new 6-hole compartment); the 375-metre 17th (with a pond protecting the front right of the green); and the 110-metre 18th, where the home green sits behind a ditch that runs into a pond to the left of the putting surface.
