- Address90 Golf Club Rd, Lang Lang VIC 3984, Australia
Lang Lang Golf Club was formed in 1925, moving to a number of different locations before finally arriving at its current premises in 1960. Professionals George Naismith and Bill Walker designed the layout, charging the club nothing for their efforts.
The course extends to 5,710 metres from the back markers, playing to a par of 70 (35 out then 35 in), with only one par five hole located in each returning 9-hole circuit. Water comes into play at only one hole, the short par four 3rd, where a pond lies to the front left of the green. The 14th is another notable short two-shotter, doglegging left from tee to green.
Other highlight holes on this tree-lined track include the difficult 375-metre 8th (veering wildly right to a well-bunkered green); the longest of the par threes at the 160-metre 12th (in the northwest corner of the property); and the closing par four 18th which eases slightly right off the tee to the home green next to the clubhouse.
