Laytown was one of those surprises where you book somewhere as a filler or warm-up, then it surpasses all expectations.

The first few holes have some undulations that would fit well in Machrihanish or Cinque Ports. I wouldn't pretend this is a world beater, but I would also say I don't think you need anything more in a golf course than what is on offer here.
