Le Touquet Golf Resort (La Forêt)

Very nice sibling course to La Mer which plays a lot shorter but also a lot narrower.

Popular opinion would have you believe that La Floret is the weaker of the two main courses at the Northern France venue, and whilst I can see the argument for and against I was thoroughly absorbed by the course architecture than masterfully winds its way through the tranquil pines.

The course isn't as well kept as the La Mer course, the greens when I went were in a bad condition due to a recent sand storm which didn't help.

La Forêt at Golf Du Touquet is certainly overshadowed by La Mer but does present several picturesque holes amongst the tall, spindly pines that its routing moves through.

Ahead of playing the 'main event' of La Mer, I teed up today on La Foret.

After playing La Mer in the morning, I tackled La Forêt in the afternoon.

This is a nice course played through the forest.

This is definitely the lesser of the two courses but a nice round anyway.
