Situated less than half an hour’s drive north of the Carway Border Crossing with Montana, the Lee Creek Valley Golf Course in Cardston is a modern par-71 Les Furber design which brings the waters of Lee Creek into focus at a number of holes.
Stretching to 6,782 yards from the back markers, the layout is configured as two returning nines, the first half playing to a par of 35 (with only one par five at the 512-yard 2nd) and the longer second half (measuring 3,505 yards) rated as a par 36.
Feature holes include the 455-yard 8th (rated stoke index 1) where a pond to the right of the fairway threatens the tee shot; the shortest of the par threes at the bunkerless 155-yard 15th; and the 592-yard closing hole, which sweeps right towards the home green, flanked by Lee Creek off the tee.
