Legends, another huge surprise and place you need to visit! Legends is not just a golf course, it is a whole experience not only for golfers, but the golfers who like the game will really love it! It was the end of the Fam Trip and although it is not the best course we played, the entire experience is somthing really special. We arrived mid afternoon on a Sunday and after checking in in the fatastic Lodge Rooms we were led to the Tribute 10 Holes par 3 course to play a very fun round of golf. This course has perfect replicas of the most famous par 3s in the world (10th at Pine Valley, 12th & 16th at Augusta National, 8th at Royal Troon, 11th at St Andrews, Redan at North Berwick and the final one 17th at TPC Sawgrass) and they look exact, with the only change in the geography, which is the fabolous mountains of South Africa. We ended almost at night and some plenty of beers were drunk to finish a very enjoyable moment. Next morning we were suposed to tee of at extreme 19th but due to the Helicopter's damage we were not able to do it and it was a huge dissapointment I have to say. This hole is a 600m par 3 with 400m level change between tee and green, where you are taken in Helicpoter. There are plentu of videos who show how spectacular it is. You will be charged some more money, but it is really worth. The green has Africa's shape and topography, it is great. Then after a very generous lunch we played the Signature Course, with one designer per hole which is something you may have never seen before. And with 7 sets of tees, you can extend it to more than 9000yds if you want to use the backest tees. But asd you are 1800m above the sea level, you can hit it a lot further than usual. And what adds something special as well is that there are lots of different wild animals along the course, which again is very unusual. We played it after a very dry summer but all the same it was in good shape with the greens rolling true and decently fast, so we had a lot of fun!! There are plenty of good holes, but par 5 9th (Justin Rose) and par 5 18th (Retief Goosen) are in my taste the best ones, together with great par 4 16th (Sergio García). And having it playing it almost in twilight added some spectacularity to the scenary. And to end the fantastic experience, we slept in the Lodges in the middle of the Reserve, an experience which I really recommend. And due to a very powerful thunderstorm, we had our dinner with candles and with the teaching of an expert in animal wildlife. It is different. It is not as great as Fancourt. It is just one course and 10 par 3s, but all together it is worth to be experienced!
