Leo Palace (Hibiscus & Orchid)
One of seven golf complexes on the island of Guam, the 36-hole layout at the Leo Palace resort is just one of a number of impressive sporting facilities at a resort which includes an athletics field, a soccer pitch and a floodlit baseball stadium.
The resort is located in the Manenggon Hills region in the middle of the island and it boasts two 18-hole layouts; the Jack Nicklaus Signature Design Habiscus and Orchid nines and Arnold Palmer Design Company's Bougainvillea and Plumeria nines.
The fairways on the Nicklaus layout wind their way round the scenic valleys and hills that lie next to the small village of Yona, with sturdy par fives opening and closing the Hibiscus circuit. On the Orchid nine, another stout three-shotter, the 505-yard 3rd, is rated the toughest hole on that circuit.
