Review:

The Links at Outlook has two nines the extend out and back to the clubhouse on two completely different pieces of property. The front nine is unique and it gives cause for the name “Links.” Indeed, the course does feel like a links on the front. Large swaths of rolling hills give you the feeling that you are walking amongst the dunes. There is even a blind tee shot on hole 4 to really give you the feel that you are playing links golf. The greens are also fun; many having turtle backs and slippery run offs.

The back is the weaker of the two sides and it plays like a parkland course in the trees which is typical of this area in New England. This is a full and fun 18-hole experience, but it would also be a great course to sneak 9-holes in at as well.

A few years a go I was able to experience a little winter golf at Outlook.
