Review for Ljunghusen (1-18)

Reviewer Score:

Ljunghusen is not a real links course as the turf is a bit heavy, not the kind of sea sand that you find at a real links. However, it is surely a great seaside course. Some fairways are lined with heather and heavy rough. The course is set in a flat area, and there is no real difference in undulation at any of the holes. Many of the greens do not have much undulation, but the putting surfaces are in absolutely great condition. This course can be a real beast when the wind blows! The course has 27 holes. The first 18 must be considered as the championship 18. At the last 9 you actually get a greater links feel, with some holes along the beach and a lot of water in play at the last couple of holes. However, at the last nine, there is less room between the holes and they are not as well maintained.
