Los Canales de Plottier

Opened for play in 2011, the course at Los Canales de Plottier lies 3 kilometres south of the city of Plottier, on the floodplain of the Rio Limay. It was the third Nicklaus Design layout to debut in Argentina, following San Martin de Los Andes (2004) and Nordelta (2007).

Stretching to 7,250 yards from the back markers, the course is routed around a substantial residential development (expected to extend to around 850 housing plots) with water coming into play on a number of holes man-made creeks and lakes skirt the fairways.

Highlight holes include the 620-yard par five 7th (rated stroke index 1), which doglegs to the left with water running along the left of the fairway, and the 416-yard par four 18th, where the heavily sand-protected home green is further fortified by a lake to the front right of the putting surface.
