Lost City

It's the Sun City resort in North West province is situated near the fourth-largest games park South Africa (the Pilanesberg National Park) and is an extravagant, man-made paradise in an inhospitable desert region.

The course is managed through The Sun International Leisure Group of Hotels, Resorts and Casinos, Lost City is one of two world-class courses in Sun City. Sun City resort and although it's often blighted by the nearby Gary Player Country Club layout but it's still an excellent course on its own even though some people think that its cart is only a regulation which is a major disadvantage.

Fairways are generally wide open, however, don't get too sloppy because there's many waste bunkers that can take care of stray shots. Water can be found on many holes, notably on the par threes between the 3rd and 15th holes. not to mention the multi-tiered water feature that runs between nine and eighteenth holes.

The most threatening danger is located on the par 3 downhill 13th hole. There is the Crocodile pit (yes you've read it correctly the first time around; an enclosure that houses huge reptiles!) is guarded by the green's front. It can be a disaster for some players when a tee shot gets into the green - simply play a second ball and attempt again!
