An outstanding Arthur Hills layout, the Legends course (as it was originally called) at LPGA International is the perfect foil to its 18-hole sibling, the Rees Jones-designed Champions course. The facility has since dropped both the Legends and Champions moniker in favor of naming each Signature course after its designer.
I actually liked the Hills course better. This has the feel of corporate golf. Good but not great. A good analogy may be a chain restaurant, you know what you are going to get. Understanding that the flat terrain provides limitations, but there is no sizzle. I found it predictable and I would not pay to play it again.
Another 36 hole facility in the Sunshine State. Both course are very good tests.
I like the nice fat fairways. Let the big dog eat!!! Good course, just nothing outstanding is all. It is also the home course of Bethune Cookman and Daytona State Golf teams. Another list you can start if you wish. I like playing University courses.
