The club has gone through several changes of name since starting out as Hawkesbury Valley Country Club in 1963, including (among others): Bungool Valley Country Club (1968), Paradise Gardens Golf Club (1976), Mungerie Park Golf Club (1978) and Kellyville Country Club (1984).
Today, the course extends to 6,400 metres from the back tees, playing to a par of 72, with water coming into play at almost every hole on the scorecard. Holes are arranged as two returning nines with highlights including the first (and shortest) of the par threes at the 133-metre 3rd and the par five finishing hole which plays to a sand-protected, raised home green
