Marbella Club Golf
A mere 20 minutes drive to the inland side of the luxurious Marbella Club Hotel, the Golf Resort and Riding Stables are located in the hills of Benahavis which is where both horse and golfers are able to enjoy stunning panoramas of the Sierra as well as Costa Costa as well as the North African coastline as they take part in their sports activities.
The course was designed with Dave Thomas, the 18-hole Marbella Club measures just over 6,900 yards from back markers, and boasts a formidable par of 73 that is equivalent to the length. The bunker and green sites have been built to an extremely high standard and the water, which is as in the form of waterfalls and lakes, is required to be played multiple times throughout the course.
Two nine-hole loops are played over steep terrain before returning to the clubhouse on the lowest point of the course, so golfers may often feel like it's a matter"up hill and down dale "up the hill, down valley" here. There are a limited number of guests from hotels playing at the course, the average tee-times of about one hour, which means there's no need for golfers to be concerned about the course rangers dragging their golfers around here.
