This is a beautiful course and club house. Very grand and the presence of a snooker table is always a good sign. The only downer on arriving there at 8.30 am for a 10am tee off was that they didn't start doing breakfast until 9.30!!! Oh well that's 12 x 15euros they lost out on? They did however agree to bring some bacon rolls out to the first tee for us which was a nice touch. The American starter was great and made us feel very welcome and gave some useful tips - namely don't get your driver out until the back nine. The front nine is shorter and quirky with some challenging narrow but shortish holes. The back nine opens up a lot more and it's nice to be able to give the big stick a biff. I would go back here as it had a bit of everything and the members were pretty friendly too when they could easily have had the hump with a slow four ball in front of them on a competition day.
