Review for Marbella Golf & Country Club

Reviewer Score:

The configuration of the course has changed since the original introduction, the 8th is a par four of 375 metres. Best described as "quirky", the holes follow undulating terrain, even with a yardage booklet the distances are difficult to judge. Watch underhit shots roll away from the greens, find too strong shots in bunkers contructed into the hillside above the green leaving a shot Seve would have trouble with. Some long distances between green and the next tee, unwalkable, a buggy comes with the fee. Best holes, the par fives 2nd and 17th. Some others less than memorable. Condition average, currently undergoing some (much needed) redevelopment. Palatial clubhouse, but there is better golf available in the area.
