The Keep at McLemore Resort is an 18-hole, walkable golf course situated atop Lookout Mountain in northwest Georgia.

Designed by architects Bill Bergin and Rees Jones, the course offers a unique golfing experience characterized by its dramatic cliff-edge holes, expansive views, and natural landscapes. 1.5 miles of uninterrupted cliff edge form the shape of the amphitheater and create a focal point at the center of the property. The Keep offers over 70 acres of fairway, plus 30 acres of first-cut running to natural areas. The openness allows playability on windy days and assists with the pace of play.
The latest ranking of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World serves as the ultimate global golf bucket list. Most members of our World Top 100 Panel are seasoned golfers, each playing 20-30 of these courses annually while travelling extensively over decades to form their opinions on others. We recognise that opinions vary—even among our panel members. Rankings are subjective, and there are undoubtedly 50 or more courses in the UK and USA alone that could easily fit onto this list.
