Miraflores

Situated not far from the Mediterranean coast, midway between Fuengirola and Marbella, Miraflores is a great family golf course, ideally suited for holiday golf – in fact, many consider a round here represents the best value for money golf on the whole of the Costa del Sol!

Hilly, tight and short (measuring only 5,600 yards) it certainly is, but Miraflores offers a different challenge to golfers of varying abilities and the more proficient player will relish the chance of bagging a few birdies by cutting the corner at a few of the doglegged par fives on the scorecard.

Housing on the periphery of the course in such a built up residential area feels somewhat oppressive on the front nine but that all changes after the 12th hole when the routing opens up and the apartment blocks flanking the fairways all but disappear as the course follows the natural contours of the valley in which it’s located back to the clubhouse.
