Compared with Cairo's other golf options, this course is just "OK"...nothing special. The houses intervene in too many places and the holes feel "crowded", especially on the first nine. Conditions are average, at best. Players routinely fail to rake footprints in the bunkers or pour sand into the divots they take out of the fairways. It's a shame, actually, how this course is abused...especially in view of the cost of the green fees being charged to members and visitors. The club house facility is very good and the barroom warm and welcoming. And, after experiencing a solid 6 hour round...watching the players in front of you lining up their putts for a score of 10...you'll genuinely appreciate the bar.
