Stretching to 6,261 metres from the back markers, the course at Mirage plays to a par of 72 and holes are arranged as returning nines, each of which start out with an inviting par five. Water hazards come into play at several holes on the inward half, most prominently at the par three 13th which plays to an island green.
Other notable holes include par fives at #3 and #7 running adjacent to the beach; two tough, left doglegging par fours at #11 and #17 (the first with a peninsula green, the second with a pond guarding the front right of the putting surface); and the par three #18, requiring a tee shot over water to a heavily sand-protected home green.
