Separated from the Atlantic Ocean by the Interbalnearia Route 11, the layout at Cardon Miramar Links was co-designed by the professional brothers Percy and Aubrey Boomer in 1927 and it's styled in the image and likeness of Britain’s many genuine links courses.

This one is the closest Argentina has to a true links and it is one hell of a gem to play. It is just 50mts from the Ocean and usually wind is a strong key factor. If no wind it is a course where scroing would be quite easy but on a strong day it can be a nightmare. I remember back in 2003 having hit driver, 7 iron off the rough and a strong 4 iron on 350yds 3rd hole ...

It is a course that has changed ownership a few times in the past years and it is a real shame because with just one wise arquitect it can be turned into a Top 10 Course in the country. The Layout helps as you have holes in every direction and there is some space to extend tees plus there are already some amazing greens design like 7th, 8th, 10th, 14th and 17th. A little bit of love to bunkers giving them character, some new greens and we are in presence of something like Crail, Elie or Brora for example.
