Review for Moor Park (High)

Review:

The first thing that strikes you about Moor Park is the amazing clubhouse. A mammoth building that smacks of history and elegance. The course itself opens up with a welcoming first. The second is where it really begins, with a challenging par 4. The par 4's are what make this course. There is a good variety of long and short holes, doglegs and straight holes. Par 3's offer up good variety, and my only single complaint about this thoroughly enjoyable track is that for the longer hitter the par 5's are simply too short. That said a good day out and an excellent test of golf. I played this course on a baking hot summer day and was mightily impressed with the condition. The hospitality was professional if a little on the corporate side. Food is excellent and for a club based so close to London, the beer was a reasonable price.
