Moore Park

Situated minutes away from Sydney’s Central Business District, Moore Park Golf Course has been the uninterrupted home of public golf in this city since it was founded by Scottish immigrants Duncan and Charlie McMillan in 1907.

Located next door to the Sydney Cricket Ground, the course extends to 5,559 metres from the back tees, with par set at 70 (35 out then 35 in). Holes are arranged as two returning circuits (with three par threes on each nine) on a tight 115-acre site where a road separates the 2nd to 8th holes from the rest of the property.

Highlights include the first (and shortest) of the par threes at the 131-metre 2nd; the slightly left doglegging short par four 9th; the par four 14th (with out of bounds on the left); and the 395-metre closer (rated stroke index 1) which veers right to a sand-protected home green.
