Mount Derrimut

Mount Derrimut Golf & Community Club, previously known as the Sunshine Golf Club, relocated to its current site in 2007. Craig Parry and Pacific Coast Design laid out the new course, retaining many historical walls and buildings on the property.

Occupying a 165-acre property next to the M80 ring road interchange with the M8 highway, the 18-hole course measures just over 6,200 metres from the back markers, with par set at 72. Holes are laid out as two returning nines and water comes into play at several holes on the slightly longer back nine.

Highlight holes include the par three 9th (where the green is positioned between two stone walls); the short par four 11th (with a lake to the right and a wall to the left of the fairway); and the double doglegging par five 16th, with a creek crossing the fairway and a large bunker lurking at the back of the green.
