Excellent conditioning - nothing special with regard to design.
The Mount Maunganui golf club is situated within houses and close to Mount/Omanu Beach on New Zealand's north island. The course itself isn't overly long, but the tee shots can be nervy with housing around the perimeter of the course.
The greens are slick and slippery; especially downhill putts. The edging of the bunkering does make you feel like you are playing a higher-end golf course.
The 18th hole plays into an iconic-looking clubhouse. A great finishing hole.
