Golf Club Nahetal operates a woodland course that’s laid out over undulating terrain, requiring golfers to play a few blind shots during their round here. Fairways are also rather narrow in places so you could say it’s a bit of a tough track.

Unveiled in 1971, the course now measures just over 6,000 metres from the back markers, playing to a par of 72 (35 out, 37 in), with holes laid out as two returning nines across 150 acres of dense forest. Small water hazards come into play off the tee at the par four 3rd and par four 9th but the main aquatic threat here arrives at the par three 14th and par five 17th, where substantial ponds front the green at both these holes.
Other holes of note include the tough, right doglegging par five 4th; the par four 7th where the fairway veers 90 degrees from tee to green; the par three 11th on the northern boundary of the property; and the slightly left bending par four 18th which returns golfers to the clubhouse for the last time, with bunkers flanking the right and left side of the home green.
